Many new topics and programming languages within the field of Information Technology have been introduced in the MSc course.  These include C/C++, Java, Javascript, Unix Shell, HTML, Client/Server, SQL, LAN/WAN/MAN (e.g DQDB, ISDN, ATM, Frame Relay, Ethernet, Token Ring, 100VG-AnyLAN etc), Entity Relationship Modelling, TCP/IP, ISO Reference Model and much more.

Coursework has included writing several C++ programs, Data Link Layer client/server protocols in Java, ERD's with SQL, Web Site Projects, C programs handling Remote Procedure Calls and a research report on developments in Transport Layer Protocols.  Due to some of these coursework assignments being repeated next year, they are not available for public viewing.
